Safe Practices Policy
AIMS considers HSE to be an integral part of the firm’s business activities and culture. All personnel associated with AIMS are expected to conduct their activities in a responsible and ethical manner that protects the environment and ensures the health and safety of co-workers and the public. The foundation of the AIMS HSE policy advocates respect for personnel, environmental and social responsibility. Each member of a Project Team shall share in the obligation of accomplishing a safe project and be proactive in all associated Project HSE activities. HSE will be a pivotal part of any Project and be conveyed equal value to all other priorities. It is the intent of AIMS to comply with all client safety procedures and policies and to abide by all local government laws and regulations, and internationally accepted industry best practices thus reinforcing a genuine care for the health and safety of others.
Policy Brief
Personnel at all levels are responsible for taking any necessary practical measures to ensure that works and the development of operating practices accomplish the following:
- Protect all personnel including the public from accidents, injuries and property damage associated with the works conducted.
- Prevent the loss of Assets or resources exposed to fires, storms and other disasters.
- Mitigate or minimize any environmental impact that may be caused by pollution or discharge from assets.
- Abide by all laws, regulations and best practices to achieve goals and excel in operations.

AIMS uses the following standardized Risk Mitigation Matrix as part of its Project Safety Review risk control and HSE criticality measures. The risk matrix is tailored for the specific project.
